Punto Banco, also known as North American Baccarat, is a game of chance with roots in Italy which is now popular in Cameroon. At mobile Punto Banco casinos in Cameroon, the game is played using eight decks of cards. Players are invited to bet on “Punto” (the Player) or “Banco” (the Banker). They can also bet on a tie. Before the round begins, players must decide how much money they’d like to bet and select their bet type—Punto, Banco, or Tie. After all bets are placed, the dealer will deal two cards to the Player and two cards to the Banker. The Player will receive the first card, followed by the Banker. To determine the winner of the game, the Player’s and Banker’s hands are compared according to predetermined rules. Players can be winners if their bets correctly predict the outcome of the game.
