Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games in the world, and Cameroon is no exception. Despite not having a high number of land-based casinos, the mobile version of blackjack is widely available in Cameroon, online and through apps. The rules of blackjack, however, remain the same regardless of which type of casino it is played in.
When playing blackjack at a mobile casino, the same basic rules apply. The aim of the game is to beat the dealer by reaching a hand total of 21 or as close to 21 as possible without exceeding it. All of the cards have their numerical value, with the face cards counting as ten, and an ace being either 1 or 11.
After having the same two initial cards, the players can choose to hit, stand, split, double down, or surrender. When hitting, the player requests an extra card. Standing means that the player is satisfied with the hand total they have, and does not take any more cards. Splitting allows the players to split a pair of cards into two separate hands; they then have two chances to beat the dealer, and will be paid double if they win with both. Double down means that the player can double their bet and receive only one additional card. Surrendering happens when the player forfeits half of their bet if they feel they have bad cards and canāt beat the dealer.
