Mahjong is a four-player game that combines luck and skill, originating in China and popular all over the world. The aim of the game is to create a certain set of tiles from the 144 tiles that are in play at each game. The game can be played at physical casinos in Cameroon, as well as mobile casinos. The mobile version of the game has the same rules as the traditional version. The main objective is to create a winning set of tiles by matching them up correctly, but there are also different sets of special tiles which can be used to score extra points.
The game begins with each of the four players drawing thirteen tiles from the ‘wall’ (face down tiles). Each player must then create two sets of tiles in their hand. The sets can either be pairs of the same tile, or they may be created by matching up two tiles that have the same suit or rank. The players are then given turns to draw additional tiles from the wall and discard tiles they no longer need. The game continues until one player has created a winning set of tiles.
