Punto Banco, also known as Baccarat, is a popular card game at mobile casinos in Iran. It is a straightforward game that involves two hands, the ‘Banker’ and the ‘Player’. A typical game of Punto Banco involves 8 decks of 52 cards. The objective of the game is to get as close as possible to the total sum of 9.
The game starts with two cards being dealt to each of the hands. The value of an Ace is counted as one, numbered cards count as their numerical values, and 10s and face cards all count as zero. If the total of both hands exceeds 10, then the second digit is taken as the total. For example, if the Banker hand has a total of 14, then the total for that particular hand is 4.
A third card can be drawn in some situations. If the Player hand’s total is 8 or 9, then the third card is not drawn. In all other circumstances, the Player draws the third card. If the Banker’s total is 0-2, then the Banker will always draw a third card. If the Banker’s total is 3-6, the Banker will draw a 3rd card depending on the Player’s third card.
Once the cards have been dealt, the hand with the highest total wins. If both hands have the same total, then the result is a tie. Payouts for Punto Banco vary depending on the bet. A bet on the Player’s hand pays out 1:1, a bet on the Banker’s hand pays out 95% of the original bet, and a bet on a tie pays out 8:1.
