Texas Holdem is one of the most popular poker variants played by millions of people around the world. It is a card game where two to ten players compete against each other in the hopes of accumulating the most chips in the pot. In the mobile version of the game, up to nine players can join the table at a time with the mobile device.
In Texas Holdem, each player is dealt two pocket cards (hole cards) and then five community cards are dealt in three stages. These community cards can be used by all players to form a five-card poker hand. A round of betting takes place after each stage, and at the end of the round, the player with the best five-card poker hand wins the pot.
Each player can choose to call (match a previous bet), raise (increase the bet size), check (decline to bet when no one has bet or called the previous bet), or fold (discard their cards and opt out of the hand). The game continues until all players but one have folded or all the chips in the pot have been won.
