Punto Banco, also commonly referred to as American Baccarat, is a popular card game in Zimbabwe and around the world. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands, Player or Banker, will have a hand closest to 9. In Punto Banco, the Player and Banker are both dealt two cards. The hand with the highest total wins.
In the Punto Banco version of the game, players can take part with mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. The rules of the mobile version remain the same as the original game. To begin the game, players must first place their bets on either the Player or Banker. After the bets have been placed, two cards are dealt to each hand, and the total of each hand is calculated. If the Player or Banker has an 8 or 9, it is considered to be a natural and the game is over. If neither hand has a natural, another card is dealt until a winner is declared. The Banker wins all ties.
