Punto Banco is a casino game of chance, popular in many parts of the world. The game is especially popular in Mali, where it has been played in brick-and-mortar casinos for many years. In Punto Banco, the aim of the game is to guess which hand will get closest to the value of 9, with aces counting as one, all card value 2-9 counting as their face value, and 10s and face cards counting as zero. The game begins with the dealer giving out two cards each to the Player and the Banker. After the initial two cards are dealt, the Player can choose to stand or draw another card. The rules of Punto Banco indicate that the Player must stand on 6 or 7, and draw on a score of 0 to 5. The Banker will draw an additional card after the Player has decided when their score is 0, 1, or 2, and will stand when the Player has 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7. Both the Player and Banker can draw a third card if the initial score is 4, 5, 6, or 7. The hand with the higher score wins the round, with a tie resulting in a pushed stake.
