Punto Banco, also referred to as North American Baccarat, is a popular card game offered in mobile casinos in Luxembourg. The objective of the game is to get as close to nine as possible. Players are dealt two cards, and the dealer is also dealt two cards. If the total of two cards is eight or nine, this is called a natural and the round ends. If the total is not eight or nine, the dealer will draw another card. The closer the total of the three combined cards is to nine, the better. The winner is determined by who holds the highest total sum without exceeding nine.
Each game starts with the dealer dealing two cards to the players, along with two cards to himself. All cards are ranked from two to nine, with all face cards being worth zero, including aces. After the two cards are dealt, the total of the two cards is calculated. If the total of the two cards is eight or nine, the game is immediately over and the players are awarded their winnings. If it is lower than eight, the banker has the option to draw an additional card.
