Mahjong is one of the oldest card games in the world, and it is particularly popular in East Asia. The mobile version of Mahjong in Vietnam follows the same general rules and principles as the original card game. The objective of the game is to score as many points as possible by making sets of four tiles, and the maximum score is 144 points. To begin the game, each player is dealt 16 tiles and can discard a tile from their hand to start the game. The players take turns drawing tiles from the wall and discarding tiles in order to complete sets of four tiles: chow (a run of three consecutive tiles in the same suit), pung (three identical tiles), and kong (four identical tiles).
When a player has completed two sets of four tiles, they can declare mahjong, which ends the game. The player who declared mahjong is the winner and the other players must pay the winner an amount based on their score.
