The Chinese game Mahjong has been a popular pastime for centuries. Traditionally, it is played with four players on a physical board. In Ecuador, you can now also play Mahjong at a mobile casino. The mobile version of the game follows the same set of rules. To win a game, players must make a winning combination of tiles, often called "melds." There are three types of melds, which are: a pair, threesome and a foursome. These melds can come from any of the available 136 tiles in the game. Players also have the option to discard tiles.
A Mahjong game in Ecuador is usually played with a draw and discard system. All of the tiles are laid out face down in a certain order, and then players take turns to draw tiles from the wall. The object is to build sets, such as the aforementioned melds. If you can’t make a meld, you must discard a tile to the side and the turn passes to the next player.
The game ends once a player has successfully built a set of four threesomes and two pairs or four foursomes, which is known as a "mahjong." If more than one player has a mahjong, then the player with the highest scoring hand will win the round.
