Mahjong is a four-player tile game originating from China and played in the casinos of Argentina. The goal of the game is to collect sets of tiles, or combinations, with each player taking turns to try and make their own combinations or build on existing ones. The traditional Mahjong game includes three suits of tiles: circles, bams, and characters. In addition, there are also honor tiles.
In the Argentinean version of Mahjong, the rules are slightly different. The most significant difference in terms of gameplay is that players are allowed to pass the turn. This means that if a player cannot play a tile, they can chose to forgo their turn and proceed to the next player. The other rule that is not found in the Chinese version is that players are allowed to exchange tiles with each other. This provides players with an opportunity to work together and maximize their hands.
