Mahjong is a card game popularly played all around the world. In the Andorran version of Mahjong, only three players are allowed. The objective of the game is to be the first player to reach the agreed points. The game starts with each player receiving 13 tiles and each player takes turn discarding or picking up tiles to complete a set of four.
In the Mahjong game, each player has to draw and discard tiles to get a winning hand. The players go around the table either picking up tiles from another player’s discard or drawing from the wall. When it's a player’s turn, they must indicate what action they are taking: ‘chow,’ ‘pung,’ ‘kong’or ‘eyes’. The first player who generates a winning hand of four sets of three and a pair of matching tiles will have won the game.
