Craps is a relatively easy game to understand and play. The game begins with the shooter rolling two dice and making a ‘Come Out’ roll. Depending on the outcome of the roll, a ‘Pass’, ‘Don’t Pass’, ‘Come’, or ‘Don’t Come’ bet is placed. Payouts are based on the total of the two dice, and are 7-to-1 for a Pass or Come bet, or 5-to-1 for a Don’t Pass or Don’t Come bet.
The shooter will continue to roll the dice until either the ‘point’ is hit, a 7 is rolled (natural 7), or a 12 is rolled (natural 12). If a point is hit, bets are resolved based on whether the original bet was a ‘Pass’ or ‘Come’ (it pays out if the point is ultimately hit) or a ‘Don’t Pass’ or ‘Don’t Come’ (it pays out if the point is not hit).
