Bingo is a simple game in which players mark off numbers on cards as the game host draws them and calls them out. Mobile bingo in Syria follows the same basic rules as its traditional counterpart with a few minor tweaks that are necessary to accommodate the medium. It is usually played with 25 numbered squares on the player’s card. The aim of the game is to complete a specific pattern that is announced by the caller. To do so, the player needs to watch out for the numbers that are called out and match them with the numbers on their cards.
Players can opt for traditional bingo cards that are manually marked off by the players. Alternatively, digitally enhanced cards may be used which are marked off electronically as the numbers are announced by the caller.
