The rules of the mobile version of Baccarat, played at Zambian mobile casinos, are the same as those of the traditional version of the game: two to three players compete against each other, with a dealer dealing the cards. The objective of the game is to acquire a total of nine points or get as close to nine as possible. The game starts with the players betting either on the banker, the player, or a tie. Then, two cards are issued to the participants and the dealer. All hands are totaled up to nine points. The highest score then wins the game.
The card values are as follows: cards 2 to 9 are worth their face values; the face cards are worth zero; the ace is worth one. The total value of each hand is calculated by summing the values of the cards included. If the total exceeds 9, then only the last digit is taken into account. For instance, a 6 and a 7 add up to 13, but the total for that hand would be 3.
